Vote YES on Sinking Fund Renewal

The Novi School district uses it’s Sinking Fund to cover the expense of maintaining and upgrading school facilities. The use of this fund is restricted for these purposes only and cannot be used for any operational expenses (including teachers salaries and benefits).

As this is a renewal, it WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR TAXES. I strongly support this measure and ask for your support on November 2nd.
For everyone’s consideration, the last tax renewal issue was passed by the voters. The district re-hired the construction manager to implement the projects for these funds. In other words, they just haded it to the people who did the work before without going out for competitive proposals for these services. The firm who was hired to do this work is a Swedish headquartered company. There are plenty of local companies who can perform this work succesfully.
